New year, new Ambre!
Dear friends,
New year, new Ambre!
Ambre 2022, a new vintage of our orange wine, wine macerated on Johanniter skins, has just gone on sale. This time the maceration period was exactly 26 days, and then the wine spent 11 months in barrique barrels.
The result is a great example of orange wine, which have their roots in ancient winemaking methods used in Georgia. Nose is full of dried fruit, tea, rowan and herbs aromas. Palate - bitter apple, slightly tart tannins, the bitterness of lemon peel and the perfect balance between residual sugar and acidity create a composition that goes perfectly with dishes like oriental cuisine, poultry, ribs baked in honey and delicate cheeses.
